I love useful technology: software, hardware and systems that genuinely help people do something better. Right now I am especially interested in AI, automation, robotics and how technology changes the way people work and make decisions.

What currently has my attention
People
People are complicated, which is exactly why I find them interesting. I read and think a lot about psychology, communication, relationships, leadership, awareness and why we behave the way we do.
Health
I want to live a long life and feel good while doing it. I train regularly, care about mobility, nutrition and recovery, and try to understand my body rather than simply follow the latest health trend.
Self-development
Books, conversations, experiments and new experiences constantly challenge the way I think. I am particularly interested in ideas that I can actually test or apply in real life.
Now
A few things I am currently spending my time on:
- Reading books on ancient philosophies.
- Building an Android app around personal productivity.
- Developing a browser extension intended to make online shopping simpler.
- Learning more about AI and using it in my own projects.
- Training almost every day, with a focus on strength and mobility.
- Improving my German.
- Working on the next meaningful step in my career.
- Exploring Europe by car on weekends whenever I can.
Work
Professionally, I am a technical product manager working in e-commerce.
I am most comfortable with complex problems that sit somewhere between business needs and technical systems: product data, pricing, platforms, integrations, automation and the processes connecting them.
Over the years, I have moved from finance and economic modelling into programming, data and eventually product management.
The phrase that best describes how I think about my work is:
“People. Technology. Business. I work where the three meet.”
I enjoy solving difficult problems, but I care just as much about how people experience the process. Good work should be professional without being miserable. People should feel seen, trusted and appreciated for what they contribute.

Things I'm building
I almost always have a few side projects running.
Right now that includes an Android productivity app and a browser extension inspired by frustrations I have experienced while shopping online.
I also enjoy more physical projects. Sometimes building something means software; sometimes it means designing and constructing a piece of furniture for my home.
The common part is figuring out how something works, discovering what does not work, and trying to make it better.
